We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in providing technical assistance to end-users. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, a good understanding of hardware/software systems, and the ability to resolve basic IT issues efficiently either remotely or on-site.
Key responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for end-users via phone, email, or ticketing system (JIRA).
Ensure that issues are resolved within ticket life cycle
Provide Level 1 support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic problems related to Windows OS, Mac OS, MS Office365, printers, VPNs, and desktop/laptop hardware.
Support office and remote users in troubleshooting VPN, email, collaboration tools, and other enterprise applications.
Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2/3 support teams as needed.
Create and update documentation and user guides.
Monitor and follow up on open incidents and service requests to ensure timely resolution.
Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access permissions in Active Directory.
Maintain asset inventory and update logs accordingly.
Participate in routine system checks.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in an IT Support or Service Desk role.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS (10/11), Office 365 & Printers.
Familiarity with ITSM tools (eg Jira,).
Knowledge of Active Directory and remote support tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Fluency in English.
