As an Account Manager, you are responsible for building, managing, and growing strong partnerships with retail accounts. You drive revenue and profitability by developing account strategies and ensuring our brands are represented to the highest standards. Through close collaboration with retailers, you create joint business opportunities and monitor performance to achieve sales targets. You act as the link between our retail partners and the internal sales and marketing teams, ensuring smooth execution and long-term sustainable growth.
This role is ideal for someone who is good at building relationships and has a commercial drive and a hands-on mentality.
You are part of the Western Europe team and report to the Regional Sales Director Western Europe.
Key responsibilities
Take ownership of sales and profitability across a portfolio of retail accounts
Drive the brand and sales within our accounts in order to grow the Bugaboo and Joolz business, the brands and our competitive position (consistent with Bugaboo’s and Joolz’s overall mission, vision and long term objectives)
Help plan and execute the successful introduction of new products, special promotions, and/or phase out older products. Ensure that Bugaboo’s and Joolz’s product portfolios stay up to date at stores
Develop and execute account plans in line with the group’s strategic objectives
Discuss commercial terms, promotional plans, and growth opportunities with partners
Work together with internal Bugaboo teams on analysing store performance, developing new strategies and implementing training plans
Monitor store performance and, after analysing them, implement improvement plans where needed
Conduct regular store and account visits, ensuring consistent execution of brand standards
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at partner accounts
Requirements
5 years+ of experience in account management, sales, or retail partnerships within consumer goods, preferably in a premium or lifestyle brand
Proven track record in achieving sales and profitability targets
Strong negotiation and commercial skills with the ability to create win-win solutions
Analytical mindset to interpret data, forecast trends and translate insights into action
Excellent relationship management and communication skills
Hands-on and proactive attitude with the ability to adapt to change
Valid drivers license
You are fluent in Dutch and you have English language skills as Bugaboo Group is an internal organization
