Your role at Bugaboo
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management and growth of a portfolio of independent retailers and key accounts across West Germany. You will play a crucial role in driving sustainable growth for both the Bugaboo and Joolz brands by maximizing sales performance, strengthening customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.
You will be part of the Central Europe Sales Team and report to the Central Europe Sales Director. In this role, you will act as the primary commercial contact for your accounts, ensuring exceptional brand representation, sales execution, and retail excellence across both brands.
What will you do?
Manage day-to-day sales activities and build strong, long-lasting relationships with retail partners across West Germany.
Drive sales performance and brand growth for both Bugaboo and Joolz by developing and executing strategic account plans.
Identify opportunities to increase market share, distribution, and visibility within existing and new accounts.
Ensure an outstanding in-store and online brand experience, including POS management, merchandising, and product presentation.
Analyze account and store performance, translating insights into actionable strategies and performance improvement plans.
Collaborate closely with internal teams including Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, and Product to deliver the best customer experience.
Maintain a structured visit cycle, ensuring all accounts are supported according to agreed frequencies.
Support retailers with forecasting, assortment planning, stock management, and ranging recommendations.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
Negotiate commercial agreements and execute regional sales initiatives to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
What you will bring to the table
Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably within premium consumer goods, lifestyle, juvenile products, or luxury brands.
Fluent in German and English.
Proven experience managing customer relationships and achieving ambitious sales targets.
Strong commercial mindset with the ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into action.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Entrepreneurial, proactive, and highly self-motivated with a hands-on approach.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within an international team.
Willingness to travel regularly throughout West Germany.
